Student Status

Nominees must be actively enrolled in a recognized tertiary institution in Ghana—public or private—including international students studying here. There are no specific academic qualifications required, making it accessible to a broad student population.

Impactful Contributions

Students should have made substantial, positive contributions to their institution, community, or Ghana as a whole—particularly through projects or initiatives they initiated, organized, or played a major role in.

Ethics and Social Responsibility

Nominees are expected to exemplify ethical behavior and socially accepted principles, alongside being change-makers in their respective fields.

Nomination Process

The process generally involves:

• Completing a nomination form detailing the nominee’s achievements, demeanor, and community involvement.
• Screening by a selection committee or board, which evaluates submissions based on the above criteria.

Voting & Selection Mechanics

Finalists were selected via a combination of public votes (70%) and board votes (30%). Winners received trophies, scholarships, certificates, reference letters, and sponsor products.

The focus was strongly on a nominee’s achievements, positive example, and project impact. It was emphasized that any student meeting these standards was eligible, with no academic barrier.
