Background and Rationale

Ghana’s youth constitute over 60% of the population and remain a critical driver of national development. However, many students face challenges such as limited career guidance, inadequate exposure to innovation ecosystems, skills mismatch, and insufficient platforms to showcase talents and ideas.

The Ghana Student Summit & Exhibition (GSS&E) is designed as a national convergence platform that brings together students from secondary schools, technical institutions, colleges, and universities to engage with policymakers, educators, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and development partners.

The summit will combine high-level discussions, skills development sessions, innovation exhibitions, career guidance, and mentorship, aimed at empowering students with practical knowledge, inspiration, and opportunities aligned with Ghana’s development agenda and global competitiveness.

Goal of the Summit

To empower Ghanaian students with leadership skills, innovation capacity, career readiness, and entrepreneurial mindset through dialogue, exhibitions, and strategic engagement with key stakeholders.

Specific Objectives

To provide students with career guidance and exposure to emerging job markets and industries.
To promote innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students.
